A premier platform for graduate students in distributed computing to present research visions, receive expert feedback, and connect with the global research community.
Overview
The Doctoral Consortium aims to provide a premier platform for graduate students in the field of distributed computing systems to present their research visions and ongoing efforts. This venue offers a unique opportunity for students to network with both junior and senior researchers, receive constructive feedback and guidance, and explore cutting-edge research challenges being addressed across academia and industry.
We strongly encourage submissions from graduate students at all stages — from early-stage research to advanced dissertation-level work. Students whose presentations are accepted will be considered for the Best Doctoral Consortium Award, and all accepted papers will be published as part of the main conference proceedings in the IEEE Xplore Library.
Submission Formats
Submissions must consist of the following two items, combined into a single PDF file:
A double-column extended abstract of the proposed research, not exceeding 2 pages (including references). The abstract should concisely discuss the motivation, objectives, technical challenges, background, research methodology, initial results, and expected contributions.
The review process is single-blind — every submission must clearly state the author's name and affiliation on the first page. Format: IEEE 8.5″ × 11″ two-column, 11pt fonts, using the official IEEE Conference template.
A one-page CV of the student, which must specify the current year in the Ph.D. program and the projected graduation year.
