Overview

Demos & Posters at ICDCS 2026

The 46th IEEE ICDCS 2026 will include poster and demonstration sessions to provide the community a platform to communicate early results and prototypes, facilitate exchange of ideas, and promote collaborations.

We solicit demonstrations of distributed computing systems and applications, and posters presenting research and development results. Early implementations, prototypes, and work-in-progress systems are equally welcomed. We are especially looking for work that has the potential of creating interactions with the audience.

Guidelines

Submission Guidelines & Selection Criteria

Format

IEEE 8.5″ × 11″ two-column, 11pt fonts, using the IEEE Conference template.

Page Limit

Up to 4 pages including all figures, tables, and references. Choose the Poster and Demo track when submitting.

Publication

Accepted papers (up to 4 pages) will be included in the ICDCS-W proceedings and published on IEEE Xplore.

Authors are asked to submit a brief proposal including a description of their contribution. The proposal should include a brief abstract emphasizing the motivation and technical contribution, highlights of the technical contribution at sufficient detail, and any preliminary results (desired but not required).

Submissions for demonstration should clearly outline the features the audience can interact with and their potential for stimulating discussions. Demo submissions should also explicitly outline any specially needed accommodations that the committee needs to be aware of.

Selection criteria include soundness and correctness, technical novelty, quality of writing, and — given the nature of the submission — significant weight will be placed on the potential to generate interesting engagement and discussion with the audience.

Each accepted poster or demo must have at least one author registered to attend and present at the conference. Posters or demos not presented will not be included in the proceedings.
